The G Academy

Privacy Notice

Last updated: 30 September 2026

The G Academy is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

Data we collect and why

  • Name, email and WhatsApp number from enquiry forms — to reply to you and arrange lessons or quotes (legal basis: steps before a contract / legitimate interests).
  • Email address for free guide signups — to send the guide and occasional learning updates (legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw anytime).
  • Purchase details (email, product, subscription status) — to deliver e-books and Daily Club access (legal basis: contract performance).
  • Messages and support requests — to help you (legitimate interests).
  • Technical data such as IP address and device information — for security and fraud prevention (legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

  • Service providers that host our website and data.
  • Stripe, our payment processor, for processing payments, subscriptions, tax and invoicing.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram), through the Meta Pixel, for measuring and optimising our advertising.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
  • Authorities where required by law.

Some providers may process data outside your country; we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under Brazil's LGPD and the GDPR), you may access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority. We respond within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls.

Cookies and advertising measurement

We use essential browser storage (for example, remembering your language choice). We also use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to measure how our ads perform — it records visits and actions on this site and shares them with Meta for measurement and ad optimisation. In regions that require consent (including the EU/EEA, UK and Switzerland), the pixel only loads after you accept it in our cookie banner; you can withdraw anytime by clearing your browser storage or contacting us. Elsewhere it runs as part of our legitimate interest in measuring our advertising, subject to your local opt-out rights.
